  • Ordinary solar battery

  • Dry charge solar battery

When using, just add electrolyte, and it can be used after 20?-30 minutes, and the service life is about 2-3 years.

  • Maintenance-free solar battery

Due to its own structural advantages, the maintenance-free solar battery consumes very little electrolyte, and basically does not need to replenish distilled water within its service life. It also has the characteristics of shock resistance, high temperature resistance, small size and small self-discharge. The service life is generally twice that of ordinary solar batteries. There are also two types of maintenance-free batteries on the market. The first type requires no maintenance after adding electrolyte once at the time of purchase. The other type is that the battery itself has been filled with electrolyte and sealed when it leaves the factory. With replenishing fluid, the service life is about 4 years.


3. Use and maintenance of solar battery

The suitable working temperature is 15-20°C.

The method of connecting the solar battery is: connect the positive pole of the solar battery to the positive pole, and the negative pole to the negative pole. In this way, the power of the solar battery will be doubled, and the voltage will be the same as that of a solar battery. The two poles of the solar battery must not be short-circuited (meet).

For the solar battery that is newly installed or charged for the first time after renovation, it should be charged for a long time. For the initial charge, it should be charged at a current of 1/10 of the rated capacity. Before installation, it is necessary to measure whether the battery is sufficient. If the power is insufficient, please charge the battery for more than 8-16 hours in a sunny place or use AC power to fully charge the battery first. Over-charging should be strictly avoided.
