How to Make 48 Volt 100ah Lithium Ion Battery Lithium Battery Last Longer

As a new type of environmental protection and green energy, lithium battery has been more and more widely used in people’s life. At present, lithium battery has replaced the traditional lead-acid battery and has been more and more widely used in electric vehicles, portable electronic products and other fields.

However, we also find that there are many situations in the market where the service life of lithium batteries is relatively short. This is because in daily use, many users do not pay attention to the correct use of lithium batteries. Once the lithium battery fails, the user will not be able to use the lithium battery normally.

The most fundamental reason is that the lithium battery pack is not operated in the correct way during use, which leads to problems in daily use. Therefore, in order to avoid this situation, we need to understand the correct operation methods and precautions to improve the service life of lithium battery pack.

1. Try not to discharge large current

One characteristic of lithium batteries is that the voltage will gradually drop when charging and discharging. However, if you often discharge large current or do not charge the lithium battery for a long time, it will cause overcharge and damage to the lithium battery, which is also easy to be ignored by many users. Therefore, in order to avoid this situation, we need to pay attention not to discharge large current in daily use. It is better to discharge it after charging and discharging it once.

2. Ensure charging time and avoid under-voltage charging

The charging time of lithium battery pack is related to the battery capacity and ambient temperature. If the use time is long and the temperature is high, the charging time should be appropriately shortened; On the contrary, if the use time is short and the temperature is low, the charging time can be appropriately extended. In addition, attention should also be paid to avoid under-voltage charging and overshoot.

Under normal conditions (the temperature is not more than 60 ℃), the lithium battery pack can be quickly charged using the fast charging mode (to ensure full charge within 8~12 hours). In the case of undervoltage, the charging time can be appropriately extended.

3. Never “overcharge”

When charging the lithium battery pack, pay attention not to “overcharge”, because the lithium battery pack will generate a certain amount of heat during the charging process. If the heat is not distributed in time, the lithium battery temperature will be too high, which may cause overheating. However, if the temperature of lithium battery pack is too high, it will accelerate the loss rate of lithium battery and reduce its service life. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention not to let the internal temperature of lithium battery pack exceed the normal temperature during charging. At the same time, the lithium battery pack cannot be charged for too long. Because too long time will also cause loss to the lithium battery, especially the over-discharge phenomenon in the charging process will have a greater impact on the life of the lithium battery. If the battery is discharged continuously during charging for a long time, it is easy to cause damage to the lithium battery. Therefore, in order to ensure its service life, we need to avoid discharging for a long time during charging.

4. Do not abuse batteries

When charging lithium batteries, try to ensure that they are recharged after being fully charged, or that the battery power is about 0-80%, and avoid using overcharge and other abuse methods to use lithium batteries. Because the lithium battery will have certain impact when overcharged and discharged, causing irreversible damage to the lithium battery pack.

5. Ensure the storage environment of lithium battery

Lithium battery is a flammable substance. If it is stored for a long time, its internal chemical substances will change under direct sunlight, high temperature and other environments, resulting in the failure of normal use of the battery. Therefore, lithium batteries need to avoid being stored in high temperature environment, such as high temperature, direct sunlight, etc., otherwise the temperature inside the battery will rise, resulting in the rise of internal pressure of the battery, and eventually lead to accidents such as explosion of lithium batteries.
