Project Brief
Dawnice has successfully deployed and commissioned a 125kW/265kWh Commercial & Industrial (C&I) All-In-One Energy Storage System (ESS) in Switzerland. Powered by the Dawnice Nezha Series BS07-265-ES-X , this project is specifically optimized for Peak Shaving & Valley Filling applications. By intelligently managing power demand, the system effectively helps local Swiss enterprises reduce peak grid capacity charges and minimize operational electricity overheads, establishing a benchmark for energy cost control in high-tariff European regions.


Background
As a premium economic hub in Europe, Switzerland enforces strict demand charges and time-of-use tariffs on commercial entities. Businesses often suffer from massive financial penalties or inflated utility invoices when their power consumption spikes beyond predefined grid thresholds during peak hours. To break through this cost bottleneck, this Swiss commercial client integrated Dawnice’s distributed storage architecture. By charging the batteries during off-peak hours (low tariff) and discharging during operational peaks (high tariff), the plant perfectly flattens its load profile and directly slashes daily energy spending.

The compact weatherproof enclosure seamlessly houses high-capacity lithium battery packs, a high-efficiency PCS, smart thermal management, safety fire suppression, and an intelligent EMS, enabling plug-and-play field delivery.

Driven by 314Ah High-Capacity Cells & Premium Energy Density The system utilizes state-of-the-art 314Ah high-capacity cells layered with CTP (Cell-to-Pack) manufacturing technology. This design maximizes volumetric efficiency, delivering an exceptional cycle life of $\ge 8000$ cycles (@25°C, 0.5C, 90% DOD, 70% EOL) for long-term project viability.

Intelligent Peak Shaving & Load Shifting Management Governed by an advanced real-time monitoring and energy management subsystem, the project dynamically detects localized power surges. By discharging stored energy during peak consumption windows, it prevents the facility from triggering expensive demand penalties and limits reliance on costly daytime grid power.

Space-Saving Footprint with Zero-Gap Deployment The cabinet features an optimized front-in/rear-out thermal airflow structure. This airflow management allows for zero-gap side-by-side or back-to-back parallel configurations, providing maximum design flexibility in space-constrained commercial zones across Switzerland.

Multi-Layered Proactive Fire Protection for Ultimate Safety To align with stringent European safety standards, the system integrates double-layer active fire suppression: cluster-level aerosol and cabin-level water mist. Coupled with proactive cell-level voltage and temperature tracking , the system guarantees swift hazard cutoffs to insulate commercial facilities from risk.
