Its climate, characterized by cool summers and cold winters with significant periods of overcast sky, necessitates efficient and reliable technologies. This project addresses the crucial need to increase grid resilience and stability in Estonia, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, by mitigating the intermittency of solar energy.

Robust Energy Storage and Enhanced Self-Consumption The core of the system’s storage capability is the HZEB-HCT-225 BESS. This extensive battery system significantly increases self-consumption, storing excess solar energy during peak generation hours. This allows the system to provide power during periods of low or no generation, particularly at night or during prolonged overcast days, which are common in Estonia.
