Commercial Battery Storage Projects
C&I BESS Projects
Project Brief
In the rapidly evolving US energy market, businesses face the dual challenge of rising peak-demand charges and the need for 24/7 power resilience. This project features the Dawnice 200kWh Commercial Battery Storage System, integrated with a high-performance 250kW Power Conversion System (PCS). Designed specifically for the North American grid, this “All-in-One” solution empowers commercial facilities to maximize their solar investment while ensuring a stabilized, independent power supply.

Background
-
The Client: A medium-to-large scale commercial facility (e.g., manufacturing plant, warehouse, or retail complex) with an existing or planned solar PV array.
-
The Problem: High operational costs driven by “Demand Charges” during peak hours and the risk of production downtime due to localized grid instability.
-
The Goal: To achieve “Peak Shaving” (reducing grid draw during expensive periods), increase solar self-consumption, and provide a seamless backup power source.
Project Highlights
-
High Power-to-Energy Ratio: The 250kW PCS paired with a 200kWh battery allows for high-burst power delivery, making it ideal for facilities with heavy machinery or high starting-current loads.
-
Tier-1 LFP Technology: Utilizing Grade-A LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells, ensuring 8,000+ cycles at 90% DOD and a 15-year design life.
-
All-in-One Integration: A compact, outdoor-rated IP54/NEMA 3R cabinet that houses the batteries, PCS, BMS (Battery Management System), and an intelligent fire suppression system.
-
Smart Grid Interaction: Fully compatible with US grid standards, supporting frequency regulation, voltage support, and rapid response (under 20ms) for uninterruptible power.
-
Advanced Thermal Management: Equipped with an industrial-grade HVAC/Air-cooling system to maintain optimal cell temperatures even in extreme North American climates.
