Background

A medium-sized Estonian fish canning factory, focusing on Baltic Sea fish processing and packaging, faces multiple power dilemmas: 46% of Estonia’s electricity is imported, with a high average annual price of 80.39 euros/MWh; power outages easily cause raw material spoilage and finished product scrapping; local cold winter and humid summer climate leads to frequent ordinary equipment failures, with lagging traditional backup power response.

Project Highlights

Based on the factory’s production power needs and Estonian on-site conditions, Dawnice customized an exclusive energy storage system. Its core configuration and advantages are as follows:

  • Core Configuration: 4×112kWh energy storage battery + 2×Solis 50kW PCS (total 100kW), ensuring core production equipment power supply, filling gaps via peak-shifting energy storage, and improving power utilization with PCS 98.8% conversion efficiency.
  • Scene Adaptability: Integrated with low-temperature, moisture-proof and dust-proof modules, it operates stably at -25℃ to 45℃, adapting to local climate and factory environment, and matching Solis 50kW PCS IP65 protection and wide-temperature advantages.
  • Convenient O&M: Equipped with remote and local terminals, non-professionals can check equipment status and troubleshoot basic faults; full-process operational visualization is achieved via Solis PCS.
  • Power Supply Guarantee: 24/7 stable power supply; PCS switches within 5ms during grid outages for seamless connection, 100% ensuring core processes and eliminating losses and production suspension.
  • Cost Reduction & Efficiency: Peak-shifting energy storage indirectly helps reduce operation and maintenance costs; Solis PCS (THDI < 3%) reduces grid interference and equipment losses, further saving electricity costs and improving profitability.
