Project Brief
This project showcases a premium residential/light-commercial energy storage system successfully installed in the Netherlands. The core of this system is the Dawnice Six Ultra BS06-S high-voltage stackable battery. Based on the visual configuration of four stacked battery modules, this is the BS06-30-S/4S model, which provides a massive 30.72 kWh nominal energy capacity (27.64 kWh usable at 90% DOD). The battery stack is seamlessly integrated with a high-performance Solis hybrid inverter, which manages the flow of solar power, battery storage, and grid connection. The setup also features a professional AC/DC distribution and protection panel, along with a remote datalogging module, resulting in a clean, highly organized, and fully monitored energy management hub.

Background
In the Netherlands, as net-metering policies evolve and energy prices fluctuate, maximizing the self-consumption of generated solar energy has become the primary goal for homeowners and businesses.
The client required a heavy-duty, high-capacity storage solution capable of absorbing significant daytime solar yields to power their property through the night and during peak demand hours. Because the system was to be installed indoors (in a garage or utility room), space was at a premium. They needed a battery that was not only powerful but also compact, safe, and visually unobtrusive. This led to the selection of the Dawnice HV Stackable series, which offers an excellent balance of high energy density and vertical space-saving design.

The “snap-fit” installation with freeform stacking eliminates messy external wiring between modules, keeping the setup aesthetically clean and reducing installation time.

Smart Remote Management: The system is fully Bluetooth and WiFi enabled. This allows the user to monitor system performance in real-time via a mobile app and enables seamless OTA (Over-The-Air) remote upgrades. It also features a self-learning SOC/SOH capability and autonomous fault diagnostics for maximum efficiency.

Exceptional Safety & Stability: Safety is paramount in high-voltage indoor installations. This system features a tip-resistant fixation point design with inter-module locking pins and rear wall-mounted anchor points. It also includes integrated grounding points with enhanced protective safety measures.

Long-Term Reliability: Built with highly stable LiFePO4 cells, the battery delivers a cycle life of ≥6000 cycles and operates safely in a wide temperature range, backed by an IP65 protection rating.
