Calculate installed capacity based on roof area

1. Fixed on the cement flat roof: installed capacity = 100 watts/square meter × roof area.

If a distributed photovoltaic solar power station is installed on the roof of an industrial and commercial factory building with steel structure and color steel tiles, generally only the south-facing side is covered with photovoltaic solar power generation panels. (1MW=1000KW) The project needs to use an area of 10,000 square meters.

If it is a brick-and-tiled roof of a residential villa, the unsheltered roof area will be covered with photovoltaic solar power generation panels in general from 08:00 to 16:00. Although the installation method of the distributed household solar photovoltaic power station is slightly different from that of the color steel tile roof Different, but the area ratio is similar, and 1KW occupies an area of about 10㎡. That is to say, a villa roof with a relatively large area (100~150㎡) can probably install about 10KW of distributed rooftop solar photovoltaic power stations, and the average annual power generation for 25 years is about 10,000~15,000 kwh.

Understanding the Power Generation of a Photovoltaic System

For ordinary households, installing a 3-5 kW photovoltaic power generation system can meet daily electricity needs.

For example:

Fixed installations in Hunan are calculated on the basis of 1460 power generation hours per year; active tracking installations by time periods are calculated on the basis of 1890 power generation hours per year.

Fixed installation of a 5 kW system generates an average of 20 degrees a day, and can reach 24 degrees or more when the weather is good;

Install a 5kW system that can be actively tracked. The average daily power generation is 26 degrees, and it can reach more than 30 degrees when the weather is good.
